Why hello everyone and welcome to my blog. While I am not entirely sure how you found your way here, I’d like to take the chance to introduce myself. After all, you’ve spent some of your time coming here already so I believe it would only be the polite thing to do, wouldn’t it?
My name is Blaine Anderson, I’m 15 and a Sophomore at Dalton Academy in Westerville, Ohio. I used to attend McKinley High but after some unfortunate happenings, it was the better choice to transfer. In hindsight, I believe it was a good one as well seeing as I find myself to enjoy the atmosphere around the Academy a lot. It’s different but not a bad kind of it. I still have to get used to it but I’m on my best way.
As for myself, I admit to have a small obsession with bowties simply because I find them to be the perfect way to up each and every outfit and add a personal tone to it. Second on my list of small Guilty Pleasures would be Coffee. A day does not start for me unless I’ve had my coffee and I’m very glad to have found a coffee shop located closely to Dalton although their coffee does not reach the one of the Lima Bean.
In case you were wondering – yes, I am gay. I’m out and I’m proud and nothing anyone could say or do will ever change that. I am who I am, I know that now. And despite how much it sometimes hurts, I’m trying to not lose myself and who I really am in the midst of a rather narrow-minded small town in Ohio. I dream of one day making it out of here and going to New York. Broadway is my biggest goal and maybe – hopefully – if I work hard enough, I’ll get a shot at reaching it.
